Camp will take place May 6 & 7, 2017 at Welcome to 1979 in Nashville, TN. Saturday we will explore and dissect the vinyl-making process. Check out what’s going on behind the scenes at Welcome to 1979. Tour all of our studio space and spend some time in our lacquer-cutting suite and our electroplating facility. Get an in-depth look at vinyl mastering and recording techniques! On Sunday, we will bring in a band to record direct-to-disc. Experience hands-on what direct-to-disc recordings are all about! We are one of the only studios in the world that can record directly to vinyl master!
