Vinyl Camp 2017 Announced!

We’ve just set dates for Vinyl Camp 2017 and we are stoked! Join us at Welcome to 1979 May 6 & 7, 2017 for a vinyl packed weekend like no other! Are you a vinyl enthusiast looking to learn more about the vinyl process? Want to know everything that goes into making a record? Vinyl Camp is the place for you!

Saturday we will explore and dissect the vinyl-making process. Check out what’s going on behind the scenes at Welcome to 1979. Tour all of our studio space and spend some time in our lacquer-cutting suite and our electroplating facility. Get an in-depth look at lacquer-cutting and recording techniques!

On Sunday, we will bring in a band to record direct-to-disc. Experience hands-on what direct-to-disc recordings are all about! We are one of the only studios in the world that can record directly to vinyl master!
